Project Independence of the Tri-City Homeless Coalition

First Place Fund for Youth
 
mission
 
To allow youth to set realistic goals, act with self-determination, and become independent citizens through housing and case management.
 
Activities
 
  • Transitional Housing: Two-year program for youth ages 18-24, includes move-in assistance, rental subsidy for up to 24 months, access to affordable two-bedroom apartments (2 participants per unit.)
  • Case Management & Service Coordination: Weekly 1.5 hours of individual comprehensive case management and assistance with participant's individual Independence Plan for short and long term goals.
