| HEY Seeks Interim Director |

It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that after three years of service to Honoring Emancipated Youth (HEY), Michele Byrnes, the Director will be moving to a new position at the John Burton Foundation. FYA’s collaborations with HEY have benefited foster youth throughout the state and with Michele at the helm of HEY, those collaborations have been seamless. FYA staff looks forward to continuing the partnership with HEY in improving outcomes for transitioning foster youth. Please click here to see the job announcement for an interim director of HEY.
The great news is that Michele will continue to work on behalf of transitioning foster youth in her new position as Project Manager of the THP-Plus Implementation Project at the John Burton Foundation.
