FYA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING: MARCH 14
 
On Tuesday, March 14, from 9:30-12:30, the FYA Professional Development Training will address “Common Psychotropic Medications Given to Adolescents.” This training will be held at the ILSP Office, 2647 International Blvd., Suite 312, in Oakland. Click here for the schedule of upcoming trainings.

FYA Membership Meeting: March 17th
 
Come to the FYA meeting on Friday, March 17th from 9:30 until 11:30 to learn about this year’s foster care legislation and how you can advocate for legislation.

The membership meeting will be held at the ILSP office, 2647 International Blvd., Suite 312, in Oakland.

 
School Readiness Fun Fair: March 11th
 
Join Supervisor Keith Carson & Every Child Counts for a School Readiness Fun Fair on Saturday, March 11th from 10:00 to 2:00. The fair will be held at Beebe Memorial Cathedral, 3900 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, and will provide valuable information for parents of infants and children ages 0-5 years. Participants will learn about quality child care, preschool programs, and can register their children for kindergarten. There will also be a RAFFLE.

Save the date ~ SATURDAY, APRIL 8 ~ 9:30am-3pm
Bring youth to the Smith Society Music Day, a wonderful opportunity to get to know
UCSC and the Smith Society through artistic expression. Music Day is hosted by the UCSC Smith Society. Visiting students will have an opportunity to attend workshops in electronic music, gamelan, poetry, spoken word, and much more.

The day will end with an Open Mic session where visiting students and UCSC
Collegiate Fellows can express themselves. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
