| FYA Training on Adolescent Development: Oct. 11th |

| The next FYA Professional Development training will focus on the topic of Adolescent Development. The training will be held at the ILSP Office, 2647 International Blvd, Suite 312, Oakland, on Tuesday, October 11th, 9:30-12:30.

| “It’s My Life” Conference 2005: November 14-15 |

| This conference will be held in Baltimore, Maryland on November 14-15, 2005. The conference is based on It's My Life, a youth-centered framework designed to guide transition services for young people who age out of foster care and other substitute care. | College Information Day at UC Berkeley: Oct. 29th |

The East Bay Consortium of Educational Institutions, Inc. (Cal-SOAP) is hosting the 28th Annual College Information Day for students in grades 6-12, and their parents. Organizers are expecting over 60 public and private college and university representatives to be present.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2005 on the UC Berkeley campus, Wheeler Hall, 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Workshops will be conducted in English and Spanish regarding admission requirements, financial aid, scholarships, college preparation and much more.

Concert Chorus has space for youth ages 14 to 21 for the 05-06 concert season!
So if you love to sing, want to tour and go on weekend retreats, perform many styles of music, or would like to meet teens from schools all over the Bay Area, check out the Oakland Youth Chorus.
Auditions will be held at Arts First Oakland/First Congregational Church of Oakland, 2501 Harrison St. Oakland, 94612. (Rehearsals on Tuesday and Wednesday 4-6PM).
